I was looking through the text files again and I found this set of monologues. They seem to be in order judging by the way some of these lines were used in-game but most went unused. Could someone help out in figuring out to which levels they belong?
PARIS This courtyards a real mess. Let's have a look around. - Parisian Backstreets That could be useful. This rain is freezing. I could catch my death in this rain. This place looks ready to collapse. - Derelict Apartment Block It's slippery. Better be careful. The whole thing's rotten. Hm...unsafe. Phew! This place stinks. No one cleans up here, obviously. I hate this filthy weather. Just rats and me creeping around. Yeuch! Phew! What's that smell? What a dump! Ugh, call Rentakill. How can anyone live here. Brr! It's so cold in here. That floor was uncomfortable. Damp and cold. I should complain to the concierge. Perhaps I could ring room service. The whole place is derelict. Paris. City of beauty. They don't show this in the brochures. It's a good thing doors never bother me. Paris has hit rock bottom since I was last here. Nice class of people on the streets. - Parisian Ghetto (Janice) Phew! The types you have to deal with these days. Parisian Ghetto - Bernard or Pierre? This place is really run down. I love it - kind of derelict gothique. What a dump! I bet the rats love this. This place is a deathtrap! Chill out and die. Who'd work in a place like this? Hm. Classy joint. Looks like a real Frankenstein boudoir. Such a cheery place to shop at. Must recommend this place to all my friends. Bad air in here. Rat-arama! Ugh, the smell. See Paris and die. This has got to be the absolute pits. Well, at least it's clean in here. - Louvre Galleries Well, Mademoiselle keeps a tidy office. - Louvre Galleries Ah, this all feels familiar. I could be right at home here. Now, how would Werner have tackled this? This stuff is really old. Yeuch! Slime walls! Uh oh. Looks like trap country. I don't like the look of this one bit. Grief! these things are really huge. Those guys knew how to build. Fire, burning oil and traps! What's next .. earthquakes! Built to last or what. - Wrath of the Beast I could use the fresh air but this is too much. - Breath of Hades Wow! It works! Everything looks so messed up. What a shambles! - Von Croy's Apartment Oh, Werner! This shouldn't be how it ends. What really happened here?????? Von Croy's Apartment I'll have to take this real easy. Von Croy's Apartment What's this guy doing here? Von Croy's Apartment Damn, he's well equipped Von Croy's Apartment This guy's good. But not good enough. Von Croy's Apartment I see you. Von Croy's Apartment Ouch, I owe you one. Von Croy's Apartment Gotcha! Hey, no contest. Von Croy's Apartment PRAGUE Snow! Wonderful. Monstrum Crime Scene There must be warmer places than this to get chased by police. Monstrum Crime Scene Another cold, dark city. Great! Monstrum Crime Scene Another cushy job. Monstrum Crime Scene Don't you just love this weather. - Monstrum Crime Scene Welcome to Prague. Monstrum Crime Scene This is impressive. I do love a place with atmosphere. Monstrum Crime Scene - Vasiley's shop Vasiley has some excellent artifacts here. Monstrum Crime Scene - Vasiley's shop Vasiley knows his stuff. I like it. Monstrum Crime Scene - Vasiley's shop This is very stylish. Wooooow! Monstrum Crime Scene - Vasiley's shop Now we're getting somewhere. Monstrum Crime Scene - Vasiley's shop Let's see. Where would I hide the most dangerous thing I had? Monstrum Crime Scene - Vasiley's shop Time to deal with that sleazebag Bouchard I guess. Monstrum Crime Scene - Vasiley's shop This has a familiar vibe to it. Hm, busy place. I could do some really serious damage here Last edited by KIKO; 18-06-20 at 14:05. |

What hotel was there supposed to be? I thought Janice was just supposed to walk around at night to approaching cars or sth

As far as I know and from the Murti's notes that I've read, there is no mention of a hotel in Parisian Ghetto. There's a hotel in Cours la Seine (could be the wrong street name) but it's only window dressing I'm afraid just like a bunch of other closed stores in that level.
´ This is taken from his notes: BULLET-PTS-16-ARCHIVE "4a/ Lara can also have exchanges at various shops and premises including pawn shop, a news kiosk, a general store, an apothecary and an antique shop. Can purchase health items." |

I'm not saying she was supposed to go in, but as a reaction, as she passes by it.
Not to mention, the promotional stuff of AoD does states, that Lara was staying in a hotel both in Paris and Prague... http://www.goranagar.com/TR/Coll/TombPromo.html Janice was supposed to walk between the Le Serpent Rouge and Hotel Eloise. Probably on the way, she'd stop next to a car to talk. (Possible client, or her pimp) Last edited by Zsott; 18-06-20 at 12:27. |

Relating this to the audio files: "There must be warmer places than this to get chased by the police." - You would think this is just Prague, but there's a second audio file for it that exists in Galleries Under Siege, for what ever reason. Spoken with a different inflection. The lines about rats may be the Louvre Storm Drains. She has a couple of other rat lines there ("Wall to wall vermin! Yeuch! I hate rats", "I bet the rats love this") |

Honestly I think all of the random sentences up until "Nice class of people on the streets" were for the first three levels, maybe even Derelict Apartment Block. Tbh we don't know if all of them were meant to play on every playthrough, maybe some of them were meant to be chosen randomly so each time Player starts the game again there's something a bit different about it.

You can also find a sound file in Louvre Storm Drains about collecting a GPS in order to save your progress. I believe this is an unused save system, something similar to TR3 Crystal Saves. And I doubt she'd only teach the player how to save progress that far into the game. Last edited by KIKO; 20-06-20 at 01:49. |
