Is this just on steam? as I have never seen this problem, as I only play on PC disk.

Yes, from my experience the disk version has it to.

Do you know if TEN will fix this?

TEN mostly uses vectors (variable sized arrays) instead of fixed sized arrays, so such bugs can't happen in theory

Fairly sure 10+~ years ago in my "TREP patches for TR4" thread here on TRF, I successfully ported the particle buffer patches to stop this if that's of any interest.

Edit: Apologies. I dont believe I did get it going- maybe was one of the few too complex for me to port. My bad!

Hey, would you mind linking that thread here?
I'm curious which fixes would be available as I'm currently replaying TR4.

Sadly tonnes of the links are dead I'm finding.
Thought I'd download them for old times sake.

I managed to port some relatively minor things!
Things mostly on the front facade of TREP.

Stop enemy body disappearance on land death
Look transparency
Uzi holster revolver bug
Grenade SAS bugs
Ledge climb delays.

There is a NEWER thread than my old one! Another fan improved on the original patches I provided and was able to add some I had trouble with as per my original thread. The problem? I cant find this new thread now!! will keep looking though.
