Aight. I just finished Chronicles modded with TOMB5 and I had a blast (or at least, as much of a blast as you can have playing Chronicles, man does this entry in the series make me bitter) and I want to highlight a few things.

I'm not sure if this is a mod thing, but it would appear that the red tint in the HK scoped mode is a lot redder than it used to be, to the point that the red dot was invisible when aiming at a light-coloured wall.

If at all possible, the pictures in the Special Features gallery should be rendered in the original 4:3 aspect ratio, since the 3D models looked too warped and the captions in the storyboards were completely unreadable.

The player should be able, in my opinion, to toggle the corner bug fixes on or off. I don't personally speedrun, but people who do glitched speedruns will pretty much avoid this patch because of this. After all, other patches/source ports generally allow to toggle these kinds of glitches on or off (for example, Doom source ports have a very in-depth customizability when it comes to how the engine behaves).

I wasn't able to patch my game (Steam version) to use another language. The audio and cutscenes were functioning correctly, but all in-game text stayed in English. Not sure if I screwed up or if the patch is English only.

Please dont abandon this project!
it still needs lost of options to toggle that are missing and some improvements
i hope new version gets released very soon

Unfortunately, most of these works remain incomplete because the developers are very motivated at the beginning but then they get bored or don't have time and these projects die. Unfortunately this happens with many open source projects.
Hopefully there will be a Tomb Raider Remastered Part II with Tomb Raider 4 and 5 (and maybe 6)...

I noticed that since the February 16, 2023 commit, Bink Video playback is broken: the video is shown in a small window at the top left of the screen. Fortunately, by looking at Tomb4's code, I found the little bug.

I love this app. My gameplay is so much more fun with the updated graphics. I can take cool-looking pictures too. I love being able to use the footsteps throughout the game too. Thanks for creating it!
