I said unprofessional when you have ZERO communication with the users that bought your product. And I'm not talking about a chat, because that would probably drive the developers crazy. But to official statements.

And what difficulty could there be in putting a rocky texture at one side of the waterfalls that allows the fog in the background to be hidden? They did that with the Lost Valley waterfall and it turned out well. You can do that in... 10 minutes maybe? And it was reported MONTHS AGO several times. I'm not asking for level selection, which I understand was probably never in their plans and requires very complex programming in this case.

First, let me clarify that when I mentioned users labelling the devs as "unprofessional," I wasn’t referring to you. That said — Tremolo, while I get your point, the devs aren’t obligated to communicate what’s going on. I, too, would have appreciated even small updates over the past months, but again, they’re not required to do so, and going silent doesn’t mean they don’t care. And as I said, we know nothing about their schedule. Fixing that issue might only take 10 minutes as you claim, but they may have had other priorities, or it could have simply been overlooked, or there could be other reasons altogether. C'mon...

You were referring to me indeed, targeting me again after three days, taking a word out of a joking comment of mine which was a reply to another joking comment (which was even harsher than mine).

It seems that harassing me in every possible thread, after every comment I post, has been your mission in this forum since May (since the translation controversy with Raq began).

So long as the critique you're coming across is constructive and there's no direct personal attacks, it's all good by me and by most content creators. Feel free to express what you think of this or that track, or whether the mood is nailed or not, or to compare what I did with other artists professional or not. Most of us are more than thankful for all observations, and the more in detail and multiple-paragraphs-long the better, as this is how we improve.

I think because some people are not creators or creatives, they have a hard time understanding how seriously creators and craftsmen of all types take their works, and how eager to improve and self-overcome serious creators are: The work; the art product -- this is situated way above any personalistic-ego-thing the serious creator might have. Non-creators and non-creatives may think of the creative process as a "job" and as a such, deeming a creation to be a "bad job" means an insult and an attack on the ego or something. Hence these assumptions about how suggesting ABC or XYZ might be taken as an insult by the devs behind the remasters. And it won't lol. And many of those devs came from this fandom, and if they hadn't been picked for this project, they could very well be here in the forum leaving their 2 cents -- which means that everyone's thoughtful observations are important and relevant.
I can only agree. Thank you for this very thoughtful and insightful post.

The problem with this forum, however, and I have observed it closely since I joined in January of this year, is that it is full of trolls who do nothing but clog up the threads with chatters and rants, and it is riven by a spirit of envy and competition.

I do think it mainly depends on who the "artist" or "worker" is; some may appreciate constructive (or even destructive) criticism, while others (in my experience, most of them) NEVER expect their work to be outright deemed inferior to something eles because "art is art and is not a competition", which is a sentiment I agree with, but there are exceptions of course like with everything else.

I am sure most of us here had at least a very loud laugh at the whole Concord character design incident, but how many of us could ACTUALLY make better character design in practice?

Now I don't know exactly the laws about it, but I don't think you can sell these things, officially inserting them in a game that you have to pay to play it.

For this reason they should remain free and unrelated to the product.

In 2024 if a game is moddable for PC it should also be moddable on console, these restrictions make no sense when you have a machine that allows you to use USB, SD, navigate through folders, replace files etc.

(By the way, I'm coming here to confirm that my mods seem to work well with patch 4 as well.)

It may be a good idea if you collect as many of these as you can find and post them in the "Feedback & Requests" threads for each game.
I've noticed with all these extra threads about the patches and such, things have gotten very fractured, with suggestions all over the place.
