Mediocre for their time, you mean...
And I'm not referring specifically to graphics. I'm not going to cut CD a break this time because I've done it twice already...in every aspect of their games. Side note: All of you who can't take a different opinion are immature. I shouldn't have to fight for my point. I posted my opinion. End of. Last edited by AmericanAssassin; 02-06-12 at 01:22. |

Plus the environment drastically changed for the better... quite obvious.
^Legend? Mediocre for its time? Not on PS2... it looks great for a PS2 game. |

I respect everyone's right to love the game and to propel it to stardom if it's any good. But to me, it's the Resident Evil 4 & 5 scenario. Should TR9 be called TR at all? It seems too far removed for me to think it should be. It might well be a good game, but I won't be buying it because it's simply doesn't seem like it's Tomb Raider any more. It's just...some game. I've hardly posted in this board since the trailer's launch because I literally have nothing positive to say about it in a Tomb Raider context. Anything I have said has been posted in MGC, where differing opinions are actually talked about and not flamed. Good point |

Why can't they just do another hair mechanic like... the AOD braid or something? I would think a ponytail would be more difficult to get right considering the loose strands of hair. I don't really know though lol.
@LF25: Welllll my only problem with that idea is that I feel like they've been given PLENTY of time to fine tune the perfect game by now, especially. They've had very much the same feedback from us ever since LAU, so I feel like they should get it by now. I think the only reason they're pulling ideas from games like Uncharted with the more scripted/QTE sorta stuff is they think it's popular so it must be a winning formula. Same for anything else they may have borrowed ideas or pulled inspiration from. I don't think that's necessarily bad per se but... I feel like TR starts to lose its originality by that point. Sometimes the traditional formula is just what a new audience is looking for. |

People that act like bitching on here is punishing CD irk me so... You're not punishing CD, you're annoying us. And there IS a difference between pessimism and realism. |

So, an opinion must be positive in order for it to be posted here? Alright then.
