lul. Don't really know how I feel tbh.

Just had a conversation with my dad. I hardly ever really talk to him really even though I live with him 24/7 but I've learnt that his views are like the polar opposite to mine regarding freedom of religion, speech, immigrancy etc. I didn't know he was so conservative. He also said he was against homosexuality and I like, died inside. I remember once when he said it was wrong when I was about 7 but I didn't really take any notice until now. My sister asked him what would he do if he found out if I was gay and my dad said he would laugh in my face. She said he was out of order but it sounded so half arsed. That's just extended my coming out to about another 5 years ¬_¬

If anybody is going to be laughing in anyone's face it's going to be the face of the person who is against something like homosexuality.

It's too stupid to handle.

TBH I think all you can do is come out (if it's safe) and let them deal, as you don't have to. Its who you are, it's been with you for long enough, it's time you allow yourself the freedom to be, and place the burden on someone else's shoulders.

My dad said something blatantly in front of me one time about two "fags dancing" on the tv, and I just payed no attention.

It's their way of getting our attention, maybe they have an inlking but they think they can persuade the future and our feelings by saying stuff like that?

But now my dad says it's fine (thought I haven't talked about it, lawd).
