Glad that this busy long day is over.
Trip to the dentist this morning for a dental restoration which I thought would take a really long time as it sounded like it would be complicated, it took less than 10 minutes. Before I went out the door to the dentist I noticed that Zara wasn't herself and wouldn't touch her food I didn't have time to deal with her at that particular time. When I got home, I rang the vet and brought her over she had a low grade infection and got her injection Zara was a little bit angry at the vet who brought someone in to cover her with a towel. Last week a ginger tom named Rufus who I like to call the Draco Malfoy of cats turned up on Tuesday morning and tried to break into my cats kennel, little broke the flap in half. I chased him off with a water pistol, at least Rufus' father won't be able to hear about this. Rufus obviously gave something to Zara though it wasn't obvious until she refused to eat her food. Maybe I should upgrade to a more lethal weapon. 🤔 |

@ DragonSlayer: Nah, just upgrade the water pistol, and if you can, upgrade the kennel. Or a domed chain link fence over the kennel.

Upgrading the water pistol isn't the issue, the intruder cat running away before I can shoot him is the issue, maybe I should get an automated weapon that uses facial recognition technology and upload Rufus' picture I saw a weapon of that type in an episode of FBI. I still haven't decided if I'll use lethal ammunition though it could take a while to get him, his visits are random and sometimes very few and far between. I wonder if that repair shop TV show on BBC might be able to fix the kennel. |

My great uncle died on the 1st of the month. Still pretty shocked as it suddenly happened. Long story short, he had a medical emergency while driving and crashed into a ditch, he broke his neck, and laid on the ground for hours and hours, until nightfall. He was finally found, rushed to a hospital, life flighted to another bigger hospital, and then they couldn’t save him during surgery.
Just a completely wild, freak accident. If you or a loved one isn’t feeling like themselves, take it easy. If your symptoms persist and you still don’t feel well, go see someone if you can. Don’t push yourself. Also tell those around you that you love and care about them. You never know when the last time will truly be the last time to say those things. Current Mood: Still in shock. He didn’t deserve that at all. He was a good man. |
