It will honestly be a miracle if they remaster all three together and I will be seriously shocked if it happens. What I think is that we'll get high quality remasters of 4 and 5 with very good visuals here and there, Lara's outfit options, photo mode of course, guiding voice lines or tutorials or survival instincts (because the new generation of gamers would struggle with 4 real bad), times exclusive level and stuff like that.
Well... of course there is, this is essentially a wish list thread.

Speaking to the question of the thread, yes I most definitely want a remaster of 4-6. It's honestly really sad to me that so many people are just so quickly discarding AoD and acting like it's beyond salvaging. It's such an important entry in the series story wise, and it's a mainline game, you can't just up and ignore AoD when it's basically a sequel to TLR. It deserves to be cleaned up, remastered, and potentially a redemption. It's never going to be perfect, that much is clear, AoD will always be a flawed game, but this isn't one fan remastering the games, this is an entire team of people working for a year or so on these games, there is a LOT that can be done to help the game. With as much passion and love that Aspyr clearly has for the franchise, I have no doubts in my mind that if given the chance, they would work some magic on the game.

Well, the director of Aspyr said in the last interview that they worked porting all the TR games made by Core Design. I can imagine they have fond memories with all these games. I think it's possible a remaster for TR 4, 5 and 6. But they have a LOT of things to fix with these games. Besides , those games were never so loved like the original trilogy.

Doesn't this thread belong in the future of TR section?

If both Cyberpunk 2077 and No Man's Sky can clean themselves up and redeem themselves then so can AOD, anything is possible it's a pity that Mass Effect Andromeda won't get the same shot at redemption that Cyberpunk 2077 and No Man's Sky got as MEA is nowhere near as bad as it's been made out to be.

The MEA developers should not have cut and run and abandoned the game because of a few haters hiding behind their keyboards who couldn't handle the fact that they wouldn't be playing as Commander Sheppard and so decided to relentlessly trash the game.

The MEA developers should have followed the example set by the Cyberpunk 2077 and No Man's Sky developers who stood by their games despite all the criticism both games received.

Short answer no long answer hell no this is the Tomb Raider Remastered section and even though TR 4-6 remastered hasn't been announced or hinted at I don't see why the TR 4-6 remasters can't be discussed here and I don't see a reason for this topic to be moved especially when it's not necessary.

I would like if there were a level select screen for each game actually..

For TR4, to make it less confusing, a level select option could simply go from the start of a hub area, before moving onto the next.

So for example:

TR4 Level Select:

- Ankor Wat
- Race For the Iris
- Tomb of Seth
- Burial Chambers
- Valley of the Kings
- KV5
- Temple of Karnak
- Tomb of Semerkhet
- Guardian of Semerkhet
- Desert Railroad
- Alexandria

I would also like the 'Story so far' feature added from TR1-3.

I know, it's really unlikely! Though we had 3 games with 3 big extensions and then potentially 2 games with an anecdotal little level... Sounds like really little in comparison but this is the way it is.

Well yes, the thread isn't called "what do you realistically expect for TR4-5-6 Remastered ?"

Hot take but not every TR needs a Croft Manor.

If they don't touch AoD then Lara needs to be shown alive at some point, either at the end of Last Revelation or preferably at the end of Chronicles.

I think teen Lara's model needs to be re-done. Less 30 year old Lara with a 6 year old girl's hairstyle and more a young Lara that actually looks her age, and they can cut that underboob scene in Chronicles it's cringe af. She can still be the same height though if that makes animations easier, most people are pretty much done growing height-wise by 16.

Added?

- Couldn't have said it better: Croft Manor.

- Also, contrary to the first trilogy, these games didn't have Level Select after completing levels on PS1/PS2. So I'd like that added.

- New bonus stories for Chronicles. The game is too short. Make them epic and tombraiderish (unlike Ireland and the VCI levels).

- A T.rex. Somewhere. Somehow. I don't care how. Throw one at me.

I just want unlockable outfits. I wouldn't even mind if they gave us all the previous games outfits.
