Alright, this is also in fact a crazy reach. The glitches, while unfortunate, in no way are game breaking or frustrating to the point of people giving up 30 seconds in because they’re struggling to climb up the balcony from the trash container.

The sabotage theory is so absurd that I don't even know why so many people are entertaining the idea. Ok, imagine if the Epic store got priority and got a more polished version of the game first, even then there's no way the intention was malicious. Can you imagine CD rubbing their hands together in an office meeting "we're finally going to bring down classic Tomb Raider... With a patch! Muahahaha!" No. Makes absolutely no sense
Even if CD didn't develop the remasters themselves, it's still their brand and IP and the game is as much as theirs as Aspyr and Saber's. So why would they want to sabotage their own game? Get a grip, peeps |

There is at least that. General sentiment anyhow is, yes, it would've been nice to have from the offset. But alas. This aswell. It's beyond ridiculous. Some people just don't want to embrace a good thing if it is not perfect. Some revel in having something to become accusatory of. Last edited by griffabee; 26-02-24 at 12:32. Here's a few things I noticed in the Epic Games version for anyone thats interested:
- The cistern key is now visable. - The ceilings of St. Francis Folly are much nicer and fancier with cracks in to let light through. - the grates in the fire room in Midas now have a light source coming through them. - The water texture in Bartolis hideout where you get the Uzis is fixed, as well as the ladder textures not being stretched. - the graphical glitch of a flashing texture in the pillar room in Midas is now fixed. -Several new skylights have been added to multiple areas that used to be too dark to see in. - The window to the right of the entrance of crift manor in TR2 no longer shows the skybox when you get a certain distance away. - The painting in the water near the end of The Coliseum is now fixed and isnt there anymore. That's all I noticed so far |

The list of these improvements are promising. I just sincerely hope they also fix the water as well as Maria doria, Tibet - etc. Seems weird to add that entire sky area in palace midas but kept the water looking like that! Even the water in the room where you kill Tony in tomb raider 3 (after he turns it pink) looks better!
