I'm foolishly hoping they'll add some new outfits while they're at it.

Most likely this feature is going to be completely optional, so there's nothing to worry about for purists like you. Let people have fun. And it's not like outfit selection is a feature that takes months to implement. Modders did that in a few days, without having the source code, so I'm guessing the resources "wasted" on this feature aren't detrimental to the improvements you look forward so much. Look forward to all the features you'll get that align with your vision and stop killing people's buzz by constantly calling them names, belittling them and hinting at them being stupid just because they have different preferences. |

i saw the video on youtube of lara in her nightmare in vegas outfit originally posted by tomb raider official twitter, fans in youtube comments says official tomb raider twitter later deleted it.
i hope it’s a case of they accidentally revealed outfit change too soon and it’s not they used a fan pc mod then decided it a bad idea to use it for getting console fans hopes up. i was looking at all the lara outfits on wikia today sadly the beta outfits arn’t listed but question how tomb raider reflections didn’t get done for plagiarism as two of the outfits are exact copies from the resident evil games. |

Maybe the patch is coming soon as there is no movement on the Steam depots for seven days. I don't know if there was such a long time of no activity before.

Alongside rounder thingz, let’s see India’s trees looking less like collage on cardboard pieces. I must say, I find it quite interesting that while I’d love more realistic environment geometry, there’s something quite beautiful and more arty about sticking pictures on grid based geometry – there is more creativity in trying to get places looking convincing with such limitations as opposed to the environments produced with modern technology, which due to the reduced limitations, involves a lot kore ‘engineering’ than creativity per say in rendering the final product. I feel like that fact is why many people focus a lot on small details in their feedback, it takes even more creativity getting such environment design to standards seen in modern games – it is no wonder achieving a greater suspension of disbelief has not been straight forward and tbh, I really admire what they have achieved so far. The before and after shots are really fascinating! |
