I actually think it looks good there. Though TR1 was never the one that suffered the most from the transparency issue.

It looks like Patch 1 water. It's missing the underwater fog. Looks like an old build as the lighting is darker and looks like the game did on release day. It's hard to tell since the video flys by the water so fast.
However it kinda looks like underwater looks distorted. It would be nice to have underwater distortion, but I won't hold my breath. Last edited by charmedangelin; 28-08-24 at 19:50. |

The water looks the same as that of the already released builds. |

I loaded up the game to double check and the water is the same albeit this water looks a bit clearer. They may have fixed the milky water texture in the next patch. Doesn't look like we will be getting reflective water if this video is from the new patch.
Which is fine by me, as long as the water texture is easy to see and the water looks presentable enough then I'm not going to complain. Edit This was posted on reddit, Patch 3 really messed up the water. I've been playing the remasters regardless, but there is no denying the patch 3 water is the ugliest water so far. https://www.reddit.com/r/TombRaider/s/h5vLexICFb Last edited by charmedangelin; 29-08-24 at 06:05. |
