WOOP WOOP! They are finally testing it indeed! This could really mean we’ll get it by start of October, if the test passes of course.

Aspyr test branch is the branch that Sony, Nintendo, Xbox, and Steam use to test the patch on hardware before final approval and sending the patch out. That branch is always updated 2-3 weeks before a patch is sent out. One of the devs also commented about patches taking 2-3 weeks to be approved.

I know we've pushed for water fixes, but they haven't really touched it for 3 patches now. I don't think they will mess with it in patch 4 besides fixing transparency issues. I'm keeping my expectations lowish. Last edited by charmedangelin; 23-09-24 at 23:41. |

Maybe this whole patch 4 thing is just to introduce Denuvo into TR Remastered. That would be so depressing, hahahaha.

I just finished TR2 and started TR3.
The games would definitely benefit from better geometry, more 3D objects such as wall carvings and rounded edges. |

You know what I would really like? If they made it so that Lara visibly holds her breath underwater, like in SOTTR, puffing her cheeks out. Would be a fun use of Lara's new animating face.

I'm looking back at the videos they posted on YouTube and that quick glance at the water, it looks similar to patch 2, but something looks a bit different. Especially when Lara backflips it looks like there is underwater distortion like in TR4.
I could be wrong though and it's just been reverted back to patch 2's water which is fine I suppose. |
