Speaking of sounds, this is probably an unpopular opinion, but when it comes to opening doors and pushing/pulling blocks, I prefer the sound of heavy stone and squeaking gates from TR1. The sound really suggests heavy weight of these objects, so if there were to be any unification of sounds, I wouldn't want all TR3's to be incorporated in all, but a mixture.

The solution would have been to give the team more time and resources from the very beginning. Of course, this probably was never the plan. Embracer probably just wanted to make the games run on modern systems from the get go with a new fresh of paint. Nothing too fancy. |

I already wrote this weeks ago, it's absoluteley out of the realm of possibilites, that they would remake the FMVs now. The physical release is not like it's the "real" release, we haven't just been play testers for the last months...
You can hope for level select, transparent/TR2 menu backgrounds and new outfits, but best thing to happen with patch 4 is the fixing of the water and other visual problems introduced by patch 3. Super best thing would be, if they finally would get the flare and weapon shortcuts working properly. It's still so jarring and really the biggest flaw of the remasters for me. (I mean you don't really need the flare unless you wanna glitch speedrun, nor do I really need the new weapon shortcuts, but it's atrocious that neither of those things is working correctly (PS5)). |

Any news on TR3's OG shotgun being back in the next patch? Unless I missed something and it's been already patched in, with me missing something.

No offense, but sometimes I get nervous when I read suggestions so I'm glad you're not part of the Remastered team. Sorry.
Replacing the TR1 and TR2 sounds with TR3 sounds would completely ruin my gaming experience. I may be a weirdo but the TR2 sounds are my favorite. I wouldn't trade them for anything. I always found the TR3 sounds the most boring. I hate that they removed the "Aha!" and Lara's grunts when she hits walls. Having the TR3 sounds in TR1 and TR2 would be horrible for me and I'm glad the developers respected that. |
