Tomb Raider II-III FMV Lara Croft (Pre-Release)
Fortunately, Kurohoshi allowed me to share with you the link to the very early release
https://www.mediafire.com/file/kzd1c...ease).zip/file While clarifying that it is not yet finished, it will be officially released on the Kurohoshi Nexus page once it is finished. https://next.nexusmods.com/profile/Korohoshi/mods |

Didn't came officially but community brought it anyway. Thank you all involved! I long waited for this.
I didn't notice issues with the mod itself regarding lighting. Mod is darker mostly because of how remastered handle lighting. For example: on this airplane wings on original for each row of windows on the ceiling there's a light to cast on Lara to represent them as she moves, meanwhile the remastered lighting variation there is subtle and still very dark compared with the original. The skin of Lara from Core Design TR2/3 FMV is more tanned which makes it more susceptible if the lighting is not satisfactory. The remastered has fixed lighting and shadows in the texture of skin which gives the impression of being illuminated, such approach may not feasible or desirable on the FMV Lara. A quick workaround would be lighten her skin texture, but it would no longer be the original FMV skin tone and it would still not actually address the issue. While the actual fix involve improve lighting on the remastered games. I too believe this came from the original FMV model from here: https://archive.org/details/FMV-Lara-model (if someday I have the knowledge to make TR4/5 FMV model I would do it, it would also be amazing) Last edited by hardtecnica; 05-11-24 at 04:21. |

Oh, that's so pretty! You're right; it might be inspired by this one or could even be the same with a few tweaks. He mentioned earlier that transferring the mod and replacing it involves some effort because no one is willing to do it.. I was hoping we could enhance the skin texture by adding some brush strokes. This would improve the lighting and create a deeper look. I am unsure if generating a texture map is possible. This could also assist with reflection and lighting.. However, Korohoshi refused, and this is what she told me: Regarding the shading, it would be nice if you could tell them that the current model isn't as detailed as people hope because I wanted it to be 1:1 like the cinematic footage so it's not like the remastered versions. Good luck! |

Now you can finally tell that Lara has no nostrils, and yet she keeps her mouth shut most of the time.

Lara fingers are stretched out when standing still unarmed or pulling boxes. She's certainly aware of this and will fix it. I believe it will include the other outfits properly, at the moment only the head is replaced for any outfit other than the Classic 2. Anyway it's already great at current stage. Looking forward for the release. Last edited by hardtecnica; 05-11-24 at 23:55. |

That sounds like a lot of work, I hope it's not too much for them to take on and I look forward to seeing more!
