I thought I fixed this.

Anyway try importing .obj via the other 3D format import menu.

I assumed you had already version that included assimp32.dll.

Anyway get assimp32.dll from this download.

Default new Version

STRPIX3_rev18s.zip

Not tested much.

Quote:
StrPix revision 18 's' readme July 2018

Instructions:
Must copy exe to existing StrPix folder. Not all required files included in zip.
If you don't already have assimp32.dll, copy it also to existing StrPix folder.

Added- Ability to export all meshes of a moveable object to single Metasequoia .mqo file. See "File>Export moveable to MQO" menu item.

Notes:
Meshes will be positioned according to the meshtree.

The first mesh in the wad (mesh 0) will not be exported but sometimes you will want it exported (e.g.if wad only contains an outfit).
In that case click "Options>Export Moveable's Mesh #0" menu item before exporting.

Will not export Lara object since no meshes.

Will only export moveables which have more than one mesh.

No hierarchy info (folding) in exported object. Do it yourself in Metasequoia if you want it.

You cannot import the moveable. Must import each mesh one at a time.
Each mesh you wish to import must have it's Local position property in Metasequoia reset to (0,0,0).
Make all the other meshes you don't want to import invisible in Metasequoia. Texturing should be preserved.

OMG, you've added a hell lot of stuff there. Thank you so much.

Just wondering, do you have any plans to implement these features in the future? Maybe importing the new Local coordinates. If you do that then you'd make a dream come true for lots of outfit makers.

No plans. Too complicated for me at the moment.

I wish meta2tr had released source code before departing the TRLE community. The code may have given me some insights on this task.

Can meta2tr still be contacted, I wonder...

Would indeed be great to be able to import the entire model back.
But don't sweat over it. Being able to export it is already a great new feature!

That said, I still have to try this latest update...

I think I found a bug yesterday, there is an option in one of the menus which says "Make all faces opaque" or similar, but it actually acts depending on the setting in the drop-down. If you have it set to semi-transparent, using "Make all faces opaque" will tell you it made all faces semi-transparent.
