Square Enix will never give permission to make a sequel at this point. Even if it's only the music or story.
But Square Enix could make an exception. There is a possibility. I believe Square Enix is interested in maintaining interest in the franchise.

And the soundtrack could be not for the sequel but for what TRAOD was actually meant to be before things were taken out.

I really hope at least this will happen.

There’s not enough material for a whole soundtrack. Maybe a few pieces, sure, but that wouldn’t warrant a Kickstarter.
Well, I personally would prefer few pieces of a quality that would give a taste of the sequel than for tons of what already is heard. This is one of the reasons why I say the team opted for the quantity and not something new and fresh that would set the tone and give direction and life again.

as much as I love AOD making a soundtrack for the sequel makes no sense and would in no way make the franchise more interesting...

...please stop posting nonsense...it's getting annoying at this point

^This
Also a reason why that won't ever happen.

A remaster of the original plus something extra would be a whole different story though (basically what happens now )

Okay but... something extra...
I agree that a sequel soundtrack doesn't make sense, but if Peter just made something like "Morgau's Theme" I'd freak out!

Pledged again! Hoping this time we'll make it!
As for the comments, there was never a TRAOD sequel developed far more than some potential titles and some random notes, so indeed it doesn't make sense to produce music for something that never existed and WILL never exist, for Square Enix confirmed in the past they are not interested in doing anything classic related, and much less TRAOD (if asking where I get this from, I got it from a KTEB member who was in contact with a SE work staff).
I think the campaign is well focused on the already provided material everyone knows, loves and can root for. As for new tracks, there will be some surely as it's a reimagination, and remember Peter is planning to complete TR5 main theme which was incomplete.

The site still links to the last kickstarter page and not the new one for some reason.

Could be your DNS cache not being updated?

Run CMD.exe and type ipconfig /flushdns and see if that does it.

Or that might not make any difference, since it's technically a new link - https://www.kickstarter.com/projects...reborn-in-shad
