Ohhhh!! This is where I come in. I will recommend some female-fronted metal bands without male vocals period, you will not find a single song with male vocals in any of these bands:
The Gathering (one of my favourite bands of ALL time, love the album Mandylion, the song on it I suggest you check out is Leaves, also love their album Souvenirs) Elysion Kingfisher Sky Guano Apes (more rock though, check out latest album Bel Air, I personally love the songs Sunday Lover, She's a Killer, and Tiger off the album) Moonlight (Polish, check out Inermis album and song) Naamah (Polish, but also amazing) Unshine (check out Gathering of the Kindred Spirits song) Xandria Todesbonden (LOVE these guys, check out song Battle of Kadesh) Stream of Passion (a lot of people love these guys, I personally am not a fan) To-Mera (Had a phase with these guys, love them, progressive metal with nice female vocals) I could list a ton more bands like Lacuna Coil, but of course, there are male vocals in a lot of their songs. I can recommend songs from some other bands, but some songs will have male vocals in them. Last edited by Tombcool; 10-09-11 at 17:18. |

I personally don't know many people in my generation that likes Music in the Metal Genre
I guess I'm all alone, excluding my Dad who was the one that got me into this type of Music XD Though Thrash Metal I can't get into that much, but I do like Speed Metal Last edited by TRfan23; 16-12-11 at 14:14. |

Speed metal eventually evolved into thrash metal. thrash metal relies more on long, wrenching rhythmic breaks, while speed metal... is a cleaner and more musically intricate subcategory, still loyal to the dueling melodies of classic metal. ( wikipedia )

Ah ok, this was one of those things that boggled on the mind for ages as a metalhead as to what their differences were, that makes sense.
