You used to be able to buy the fired/inert tubes of these down here, in Army surplus stores, for cheap:

Googling, looks like they go for some bucks now.

I'm sure the government made a rule that you couldn't surplus these to civilians, at some point, probably during the Clinton years.

That's the government elites, these days, mustn't give the peasants ideas...

Interesting, so some tubes were just single use?
Maybe it's good they aren't available to citizens.. even an inactivated bazooka would cause a stir if spotted on the street. Would have been great for cosplay though!

During E3 1996, Eidos had a huge plastic model of Lara, accurately showing her in-game assets. Their booth was right next to the GTIS booth where we were showing Shadow Warrior for our first reveal of Lo Wang in action. Their line was a lot longer than our line lol

There was exactly 4 years and 4 months between TRU and TR 2013.
Fun fact : Do you know which game was released 4 years and 4 months ago ? Shadow, indeed.

EDIT : Looks good, Harley ! Nice work indeed.

Oh yeah, they still make them too. You just pull out the tube and fire, then toss the empty tube.

They make heavier fire-and-throw-away rockets too, like the AT-4.

Anyway, that used to be a "cool" surplus thing you could buy, though useless except as a wall-hanger.

Belated thank you

The green roll of tape came in handy making a stubby version of the classic harpoon gun, although I'm starting to think it's too shiny for what I'm using it for. Oh well, I'm not done making the TR2 wetsuit either so I can consider it a work-in-progress still.. especially since I've picked up on like a dozen improvements I could make since making the collage pic.

What's fun is it started as a toy shotgun so it still shoots darts

Also its kind of weird how different the in-game and FMV harpoon gun was
