TR7- Menu Hook not working?

I placed all the files in but the menu seems not to work its on Update 1.2 i renamed rename dinput8 to binkw32.dll but nothing happens when i run the game sometimes i get a fatal error as well.

On TheIndra's GitHub page it says only nextgen demo debug exe works for Legend. So using 1.2 isn't supported.
