Smile Level progress

This is the first time i'm starting to build a level around a concept/area instead of starting at the beginning section, and i'm enjoying the experience a lot. It has actually made me come up with ideas more easily!

And this is my progress so far on my entry, central area of the level. Making the level with TR1Main.



Undecided on the name, but possibly "Persian Underworld"

This looks unreal, it's incredible how nowdays something like that can exist in an engine different than TR4/NGLE. I feel old

My own unrelased projects are constantly put to shame by you active guys with the classic engines at this point Most of my old concepts were pretty vanilla... at least I'm constantly getting inspiration from everyone's works

Smile Some progress

My TR1 CCC project has grown a bit since i last posted, now i'm approaching the 10 min mark of gameplay finally.
This is how the central area of the level is looking now, trying my best to use it to its fullest potential and i'm very happy with how it's coming along! There's even some gameplay at the top of the central cavern.



Right now i have a creative block so i decided to do the texturing and lighting on what i have at the moment for a change. I always waited to do the detail at the end but this way is more efficient.

My level has grown considerably since my last post, now i have half of it done and detailed. About 20 minutes of gameplay now:



Hopefully the second half should be faster to make now that i have the entire cave system figured out.
