Edit - Since the original post made no sense to me, here are my modified directions.

The patch and instructions are intended for English Steam/GOG version. It's uncertain if other versions are supported. Instructions are included to try and approximate the fix in non-Steam/GOG versions, but I can't attest to their usefulness.

TwilightSparkle's Tomb Raider III Super Mode Fix

------

The Easy Way: IPS Patch

Bear in mind that this is for the English Steam/GOG EXE.

1. Download Lunar IPS. https://fusoya.eludevisibility.org/lips/

2. Make a backup of your original tomb3.exe.

3. Download TRIII_SuperModeFix.zip. https://mega.nz/file/yWJQgB4a#82epTH...SZesTpix0m59Yg Extract the archive.

4. Open Lunar IPS and select "Apply IPS Patch".

5. A window named "Select IPS File to Use" will appear. Select TRIII_SuperModeFix.ips.

6. A window named "Select File to Patch" will appear. In the dropdown menu near the bottom, change "Common ROM files" to "All files (*.*)".

7. Select tomb3.exe once it appears; a dialog box named "Patching Complete!" will appear saying "The file was successfully patched!"

8. Optionally, download a save from the end of All Hallows, finish the level, start a New Game, and use the level skip cheat to test.

---------

The Hard Way: Hex Editing

1. Download and install the hex editor HxD. https://mh-nexus.de/en/downloads.php?product=HxD20

2. Make a backup of your original tomb3.exe.

3. Open tomb3.exe in HxD.

4. Ctrl+G (GoTo) 00082CE0. Alternatively, Ctrl+F and change the Datatype to Hex-values from the dropdown menu. Input this: A106286D008B and press Enter.

Either way, Ctrl+B (PasteWrite) this:

Code:
833D503F630001750433C0EB4CA106286D008BD083E01CC1E802666BC0038BC883C1088B44240483E007D3E080F90B750380E6C780F90E750681E2FF3FFEFF80F911750681E2FFFFF1FF80F914750681E2FFFF8FFF0BC224E1A306286D00C39090909090909090909090909090909090909090
(Copy/paste it from the code string above to make it easier)

5. Ctrl+G (GoTo) 000832A9. Alternatively, Ctrl+F and change the Datatype to Hex-values from the dropdown menu. Input this: 8A1506 and press Enter.

Either way, Ctrl+B (PasteWrite) this:

Code:
833D503F63000174358A1506286D00F6C21C743383F8017C2583F8047F2089C1B810000000D3E08B0D06286D006685C8740C90
(Again, copy/paste it from the code string above)

6. Save the EXE.

7. Optionally, download a save from the end of All Hallows, finish the level, start a New Game, and use the level skip cheat to test.

---------

TRIII PC Save Files: https://tombraiders.net/stella/savegame/TR3saves.html Go down to "Jeff Reid's Complete TR3 PC Saves" and download those. Unzip the archive, then unzip "TR320.zip". You want SAVEGAME.13; place it in your TRIII game folder. Walk toward the pickups and end the level, then start a New Game to activate Super Mode.

Level Skip Cheat (PC): Draw Pistols. (Specifically Pistols, because other weapons will make Lara explode.) Hold down Walk: 1 step back, 1 step forward, release Walk; hold and release Crouch; turn around 3 times in either direction; immediately jump forward. (Skip until you complete Caves of Kaliya, whereupon you should see the Next Adventure globe, meaning TwilightSparkle's fix worked.)

As per the post above, I've just tried Jeff Reid's save file after changing the tomb3.exe through hex editing. Seems to work perfectly. Many thanks to the OP and everyone else who has helped out in this thread
