Why ever not? She probably got as much chance as any other actress. Nowt wrong with being keen. Perhaps we should support someone who's a fan of Tomb Raider and is so keen for the role. She has the looks. And though not relevant (sadly), she makes a great horsewoman (saw video on youtube).

@Lukass, how on earth is she too Barbie-ish? She wears make-up? Big deal. She's obviously beginning to make a name for herself. I can't see a reason why she shouldn't at least try for the role.

Well if she gets the part or has the chance to audition for it good for her. In fairness I haven't seen her act.

Well fair enough, but that doesn't make this actress 'barbie-ish'

. I guess as it looks like we're getting a live action movie, all we can hope for is a decent actress who looks and sounds and acts as alike Lara as possible (at least however they're directed to do).

I still think that whoever would play Lara, it still would be just parody to Lara. Only CGI Lara is the right one imho.
