Honestly, the fact that it's been 7 months since embracer and we haven't heard a peep about remasters, remakes or even a road map is kinda disappointing, but whatever.

They should seriously show us a mini teaser or a note just like they did with shadow when everything was silent before 2018. We really need to know when to expect a reveal otherwise E3 would be huge disappointment for TR fans.

Each passing day TR feels more and more irrelevant. So many franchises are leaps and bounds ahead of where TR should be. It's gonna get tougher to convince gamers that TR is worth another chance.

Does E3 ring a bell to anyone ? They are not going to announce something randomly to please those who can't wait and I understand that.

No TR isn't irrelevant the franchise is still going strong.

They want to show us quality over something random. Imagine instead of showing us just a logo or a CGI cutscene they show us CGI + actual gameplay.

We have to wait and it's not by complaining every week or day that something is going to happen.

How is TR going strong? They've had multiple cancelled projects and a flop mobile game. Doesn't necessarily scream relevancy.

You know devellopment isn't an easy journey, there was Covid there was the Embracer deal. You know TR 2013 devellopment cycles.

I suggest you to watch some videos called What Happened by Matt Mc Muscles and you will know the reality behind the game industry and big titles or small. It's a long road until a game is playable.

There's other projects for TR planned a TV show (confirmed by the writter/producer) is being written, the anime is coming (yes devellopement in animation is long too) and a game is develloped. There's a lot of things to be excited about but you purposely choose to scream at litteraly nothing because you are bored and want something.

Granted the mobile game isn't the best but there's not just that to happen.

Other games made the headlines it's great but there will be the same passion when the TR game will be revealed.

Let's just wait.

As it was between the 2008-2013 hiatus, and the game that came after became the most commercially successful in the franchise history. I'm sure poeple all around the world will be hyped when we will have concrete footages and news about the new game. Even despite the poor reception of Reloaded, which will be forgotten fast instead of really tarnish the franchise general reception.

They used to do that though.
Rise was the only game announced at E3 in the franchise, so it's more of an exception actually :0
I still believe they will organise a special showcase and show and reveal several projects.

Exactly. Things are quiet atm, that doesn't mean irrelevance. People talk about games they know about that are announced or just released. Whilst we know a game is in the making, it hasn't been announced with a title, screens or footage.

Exactly, again.

And all of this. TR will be talked about again when there's something to talk about. TR always makes headlines whenever something comes out whether leaks or rumours, which means there is still interest. But talking about leaks and rumours only lasts so long, once there is something official to talk about interest will rise.

Huge deals with Amazon. A Netflix anime show coming. A live-action TV series coming. A mainline AAA (possibly AAAA) game coming. Multiple crossovers with other franchises like never seen before (and pretty successful ones, like the Fortnite skin being among the most popular). Let alone the stuff we don't know yet.

Just because we're on a hiatus, during which the company and IP were sold to another one which also resulted in a pretty great publishing deal, and possibly a huge income of cash, and also juggling the project with soon-to-be-dead Avengers, doesn't mean TR is going weak. Do I wish we'd have seen something by now about the next game? Oh, absolutely, especially when even when a full reboot was made after TRU, by now we already had a game in our hands after that hiatus. But we have no option but to wait. And this hiatus made me look into other franchises, and that's how I've grown to absolulely fall in love with Assassins Creed
