^Nicobass said he is using original Judith Gibbens voice, he isn't going to hire another VA to add additional dialogue. Personally I think the guardian is better left to the original purpose, but that's just my opinion, not nicobass' opinion

@indigo15 those pictures are amazing! I love the designs of the gates, arches and windows!

Is quality of audio good enough for nowadays standards? Somehow it will look strange on modern graphics .

I don't know how it will sound, especially some of those weird static noises in the background in some of the cinematic Lol, but I guess we'll have to wait and see.
Maybe someone should contact Judith and ask her to re-record, she said in that interview she had a lot of fun and would love to do it again...

EDIT: Just one more question...Save system, LAU or Classic?
Sorry for too many questions, I'll try to keep my excitement contained from now on lol

Yes I don't think Judith will refuse this.

Oh and Nicobass, for the venice level, you can take inspiration from the movie the tourist, it instantly reminded me of Tomb Raider 2 the first time I saw it

One suggestion I do have for venice is to make more pathways around. I love the boat to bits, but the TR2 levels gave the impression that that was the ONLY way to get around. It would be cool to have your version's levels designed in such a way that you require the boat to complete the level, but as you progress can open doors and gates to go back to previous areas on foot or on the boat, so that by the time you finish the level you are technically able to run all the way back to the start without touching the water. There would be no reason to, but the ability helps make it feel like a real city.

Also, have you come across the Tomb Raider Travellers Guide? It has an expanded TR2 story, and even some notes from the original script writer Vicky Arnold.

"The Emperor is the dragon; the idea being that the dagger will give this power to whoever has enough belief to drive it into their heart - and that his warriors who fight alongside him will have added powers too. Hence the [Fiama Nera] cult's interest [in the dagger]. The guy with the disturbing green eyes is one of the Emperor's generals and when the dragon is killed, he and the other soldiers return to their normal human strength. You might be able to see when the general falls to his knees, that his eyes turn back to normal and his fangs and reptilian skin disappear."

Wow, thanks for sharing this! The extra story notes are fascinating. They really help flesh out the game's story, and it's great to be able to read the full transcripts for the cut scenes. My mind is running wild with the extra bits that weren't included in the original game. Great storytelling possibilities, for sure!

I wonder if some of these extra story notes (like Lara finding the buoy after she finds the Seraph, making her way to the surface, and sneaking back onboard the rig) should be added to the gameplay. Lara fighting her way back to the plane to steal it could be fun, and it would be cool to see those extra moments.

BTW Nicobass, I came across this web site & thought the pics might come in handy for when you're working on some of the Tibetan levels: http://library.brown.edu/cds/Buddhis...Art/jampa.html - there are lots of pics of murals that might work well in the Barkhang Monastery, Catacombs of the Talion, and Ice Palace levels.
