Game won't launch on windows 7 x64
Tomb1Main.exe writes - invalid patch module

Is it possible to make the mod work under windows 7 x64?

It works with Windows 7. I would try a clean reinstall?

Also try reading this. If you have old Intel integrated graphics, that can cause problems I think with OpenGL.

I was able to launch the game.
The ddraw.dll file interfered, if it was deleted/renamed from the c:\TOMBATI\ folder, after that the game started.
But in order to run TombATI v1.7 now, you need to return the ddraw.dll file back to the c:\TOMBATI\ folder

Is it possible to make TombATI v1.7 + Tomb1Main-2.6.2 compatible without deleting the ddraw.dll file? I have Windows 7 x64

Tomb1Main doesn't use TombATI. The only files you need are the "data", "fmv" and "music" (optional) folders. Then add the Tomb1Main files. That's all.

A few hotfixes were needed FYI.

I would recommend making a new folder for Tomb1Main. Like Tremelo said, just download Tomb1Main. And in that folder, copy the "data", "fmv" and "music" folders from TombATI. Then run the Tomb1Main exe.

Doing God's work as always!

By the way, if you are interested, with this new version of the Tomb1main there (sometimes) are a few new lines at the bottom of the log file generated after my wip level crashes (yes, I'm trying every new version including hotfixes lol). They are as follows:

../src/game/gameflow.c 1045 GameFlow_InterpretSequence seq 1 1
../src/gfx/3d/vertex_stream.c 116 GFX_3D_VertexStream_RenderPending Vertex buffer resize: 8640 -> 10320

The buffer resize aren't always the same numbers. That's probably the closest thing regarding my problem since vertexes seem related to the bug and crash, but it may as well mean nothing at all.

Hm the only issue we've seen with that is this problem with an unpatched original level file. In the original UB Gold game, there is an issue with some door portals that cause a crash.

Interesting... however seems completely different from what happens to me (I don't even need to cross any portal in order to make it crash). Nice to know tho!

I've kept the framerates the same as the original FMVs, remastered the on screen text for the CAFE FMV and included the MANSION remake FMV by Bonic Studios, as the original I couldn't get looking "right".

Enjoy =)
This is an amazing job. Have you made a Tomb Raider 2 version?
