I did not use the install exe file because it needs dotnet.
But I extracted zip archive.
And I can not use config tool too (dotnet again).

It seems that TOMB1Main odes not need title.phd and titleh.pcx files from UB extension?

I'm writing a Lutris script to facilitate TOMB1Main install for Linux users with GOG or Steam Tomb Raider 1 files, so I need technic details.
titleh.pcx isn't used by default because titleh.png is. titleh_ub.png is used for UB. The same title.phd is used for both TR1 and UB. Does that answer the question?

Just did this and that worked, thanks! The braid looks great, by the way! It looks so official, as how Core probably intended her to look with it if they had been able to get it working in the original release.

Omg a working braid in original game TR1! Now if someone can replace the T3 headmesh with the TR1 one so the braid actually looks good we will finally have a proper looking and working braid in TR1!

I'm sure that'd be child's play for Xevengar.

But since the engine can now inject meshesh, I'm guess the step to replace them isn't all that difficult (if not working already)

Just downloaded and installed this because I want to replay Unfinished Business, but the old CD won't make the game install/run.

I downloaded "Tomb1Main-2.13-Installer.exe" and ran it.
It found my Steam folder, so I used that for the installation.
It asked to download UB, so I did.
It installed fine, I think...
I then Ran the "TR1Main config tool" and ticked some more boxes.
Save. Launch Game.

The game launches and I can scroll through the menu items, but I can't select them. So when pressing Enter on the passport nothing happens.

Also, it looks like the main game launched.
How do I launch UB?

Derp... Forum effect kicked in.
Instead of using Enter I have to hit Ctrl.
And there's a shortcut icon to UB.



So, all solved I guess.
Time to replay this classic.

Nice glad you figured it out. Because controls are fully customizable, we removed enter from being hardcoded as a menu selection. In the future, menu specific controls may come back since it's confused a lot of people. But having fully custom controls is worth the trade in the meantime. Have fun.

I've downloaded this source port to give it a try. It works pretty well, but unfortunately I can't edit anything on the ConfigTool.exe, because for some odd reason it refuses to run on my rig at all.

Is there anything I can do to unlock it?

Nice update. Great to have the PS1 Uzi sound now.

However, why is the PS1 style selection being drawn over the text?


This didn't happen in 2.12.1, only in 2.13 onwards

EDIT: Also, the passport textures seem to glitch upon opening it

Question

How can i make mp3 music tracks work?

I replaced "Track57.flac" ( Caves ambient ) that TombIDE placed on the Audio folder with an mp3 128Kbit track that i renamed to "Track57.mp3", but it doesn't play inside the level.
