hey y'all, long time no see
![]() but I come with good news, tomb5 V3.2.0 is out now!! This release comes with many bug fixes, and a final round of restoring PSX effects back into the game. Full changelog here if you wanna check it out First off, support for Non-English has been restored. For some reason, the Steam exe (which was used as base for this patch) had the accent support removed from it, but now it works perfectly. Tested with French and Spanish files ![]() then that pesky corruption on the portal effect and sniper overlay has been taken care of ![]() ![]() so, what's new? as said earlier, a couple more of the PSX effects that were missing on PC have been implemented, mainly the floor lasers in Escape with the Iris, and the gas cloud effects in the gas room in Red Alert! An odd thing I just noticed, recently. Playing Trajan Markets, it looks like the game is trying to give the water that dust particle effect. The thing is, it seems like it's not displaying correctly because the effect shows up as textured triangles although they're barely noticeable because of how transparent they are. It also looks like it's applying the effect to one of the valve switch rooms(the one you have to turn before you can reach statue boss/shotgun room) rather than keeping it underwater. The console versions seem to disable to effect altogether. Any idea if this is supposed to happen?

![]() By the way, do you know whether the spinning loading wheel is present in the PC level files? I would love to have the option for the spinning loading wheel along with TRTLR and original TRC loading bars. Also, speaking along the lines of what Kirishima wrote, can the bubbles in the water be disabled or changed to the TRTLR style? I play the PS version sometimes and going back to PC makes me kinda miss the crystal clear waters. |

Hum, I don't think it's intended and I don't know if it has been reported before, but in the VCI levels, when Lara is crouched and you perform a roll, she slides on the floor!

Game keeps crashing at the beginning of the level Red Alert! and i cant finsh the game im stuck

I don't know how this stuff works, but...TR2 Main has the barefoot.sfx file which allows for Lara's barefoot sound effects in the Maria Doria levels. Couldn't a similar solution be worked out here? Just have like an extra file with the rolling animation in it that gets loaded whenever you play The 13th Floor.
If that were possible you could even patch it into TR4! |

That would require data injection, like what tomb1main is doing, which is probably outside the scope of what this project aims to achieve.
