Default Manuel Aim?

Sorry if this has been asked before, but is there a reason why the PC version has a manual aim feature? It's hardly ever useful, and the console versions got along fine without it.

"Manual aim" is the aiming system from Legend and it's IMO the best aiming system for gamepads.

Youíre right. I guess I completely missed it when I played the 360 version. I really had no problems without it. But on the Steam version I needed it to get through the St. Francis Folly and Temple of Khamoon levels.

Probably Crystals just carried the manual aim over from Legend.

You need the manual aim to shoot the scarrabs in Tomb of Khatmoon - it was definitely a conscious choice.

You can do that just with Lock-on/Switch Targets, I think the constellation puzzle at the start of St Francis Folly requires it though. I don't recall Lara being able to normally target the stars.

I figured this was when you have someone named Manuel aim for you.

Oh, you mean the third person shooter style manual aiming! I thought that the question was about the menu option.

You can target the stars with the automatic aiming, but it doesn't work well for all of them and manual aiming is faster in that instance anyway.
