Default Portals between vertically stacked rooms

Hey everyone! So I don't think I remember seeing this in the tutorials for TE, but I accidentally connected 2 rooms with a portal from the ceiling of one room to the floor of another room with the same floor level!

Room A has a floor of 0, Ceiling of 12

Room B has a floor of 0, Ceiling of 8

TE let me connected a raised floor section of Room A to the ceiling of Room B. This was never possible in Winroomedit or NGLE without some tricks, and it usually caused crashes or the editor to "correct" the mistake poorly.

My question is: Does TE actually support this type of portal connection? Obviously it makes perfect sense in a true 3d world, but I want to make sure I won't cause issues doing this.

Thanks

Well, I don't know for sure, I'm just an amateur, but I had a similar situation. However, I connected water room and regular room, and the ceiling of the water room was a little higher than the floor of the regular room. It connected just fine, but when I tried to swim up and just float on the water surface in-game, Lara just refused and fell immediately back into the water. It was happening until I aligned ceiling and floor height.

So, I guess it causes issues, but I don't know how big they are.
