And I bet that this board game has something to do with the new videogame. Maybe the latter will be titled precisely The Crypt of Chronos and will have the same plot. |

Yeah, I don't get why all these tabletops are being made I mean, I wish nothing but fun and time well-spent playing to the ten people who wanted this, but I have no recollection of seeing people demanding more tabletop games be made on this forum whatsoever. A lot of puzzling business choices, but hey, it's not my money that ever will be spent on this.

Hm, a new board game. This might actually be something worth keeping an eye on.
The AOD one is great fun and surprisingly strategic, if you want it to be, after all. Really always felt to me, as if someone thought long and hard how to adapt the franchise's identity to the tabletop to make this fun to play and recognisable for both, people who enjoy board games, and people coming from the video games. Tomb Raider Legends looked more generic, like a typical licensed to make a bit of side money product. But I never got the chance to play that one so maybe the looks are deceiving. This new one at least sounds as if it might be more in line with the AOD game which would be a good sign. Will be interesting to hear more about it. |
