I like her T8 model, but I think the problem is that she has lost her edge in modern Tekken, especially since T5. In T3 she appeared more cold-blooded, and disturbed as Ogre had her under mind control once she was out of cryosleep.

I plan to also switch the character menu setting to Reina, as I think she suits it very well.

All of that! Nina and classic Lara fall into a shared place for me.
I loved the Stoic, stern, coldness of their characters. They both had this aura of "that's a bad bitch you do not want to mess with" and unfortunately they've lost that in their modern iterations.

I do love her T8 model, she is perfect Her design I'm not fond of.

Tekken 3-Tekken Tag Tournament was peak Tekken imo.

Pics please.

I always loved her DBD wrestling model (CGI not the potato faced in game model obviously)

I really wish they’d have waited until the 360/PS3 era to make Death by Degrees - better loading, better graphics and more people being open to using the sticks for a variety of things may have really been a game changer. Would love a remaster.

Here it's just Lili's long hair with different bangs.

I too LOVE Nina's DBD CGI model!! It's still my fav Nina model of all time.

Agreed, a remake or remaster would be awesome. Like the RE Outbreak games, I think DBD was ahead of its time.

I didn't know there was a Tekken topic when I created a topic for this.

Tekken producer says retro Tekken collection is unlikely citing ugly polygons
https://www.playstationtrophies.org/...ugly-polygons/

The answer is simple just remaster the Tekken games the same way TR 1-3 were remastered and let players switch between the original graphics and the remastered graphics.

Tekken 3 has always been my favourite, Ling Xiaoyu is my favourite character.

Nothing is impossible if you try hard enough Capcom brought Resident Evil back from the dead after the action oriented RE5 and RE6 especially RE6.

I thought the story DLC was very good, I finished it in one sitting. It's more tolerable than MK1's Khaos Reigns.

The stage DLC did throw me off, I assumed it would be part of the Ultimate Edition.

T5DR is the perfect Tekken game for me, and I'd love to see this get re-released with modern online support. The rage arts/heat mechanics are fun for a bit, but I much prefer the simple poke-heavy gameplay, rather than the insane combo juggling.

Harada wrote an apology for the stage DLC being paid.

Quote:
I understand that the community has some questions about the release of this stage DLC.
As the person in charge of the TEKKEN franchise, I apologize.

It was made clear from the beginning that the Year One Pass (Season Pass) would not include stages, BUT even so, when the Lidia Sobieska DLC was released, the [Sea Side Resort Stage was a Free Update], and in this case, the [Even though the additional Story Mode, which should have had the highest development costs, is a Free Update],
BUT [the Genmaji stage was Sold Separately], and as a result, the release ended up being one that was NOT well understood or Accepted by everyone (at least the almost all community was expecting a pattern similar to that of Lidia).
There are various reasons for this, But I will talk about the background to this as an individual in order to increase transparency to some extent.

The TEKKEN project is divided into two companies: a game development studio and a publisher that is responsible for game sales (At the time of the development and release of TEKKEN 7, the development and publishing companies were not separate).

As some of you may know, I moved to the Development Studio side a few years ago, and have been focusing on maximizing the quality of the content/Tech/Graphics etc..

The development side and publishing side each have their own roles, and there are differences in the way they think and the responsibilities, I who should be the one to act as a bridge between the two, have not been able to properly participate in the publishing (sales) decision-making process for As a result, I think that there were parts of the process that did not take the Tekken community's opinion into account.

I think I failed to create an organizational structure that would allow me to oversee things beyond my own position.
One of my roles was to listen to the opinions of the Community and reflect them not only in the content but also in the out-game, but I was clearly becoming passive, worrying about the relationships between companies and not exercising my role.

From now on, I will review this structure and change it to one that values the community as it did in the past.

Thank you.
