Fix my Audio
Recently I turned on my computer and every time this audio gauge appears, and is muting the volume on my entire computer:
Has anyone had any issues like this before? Or does anyone know any fixes? I'm on Firefox and Windows 10... |

This is the default wundows volume overlay. From the top of my head there could be several reasons, including:
* A USB Audio Device (controller, headphones, etc) set to mute manually on the device. * The mute key on your keyboard is stuck There could also be software issues, but that's hard to diagnose remotely. |

I usually try virtual machine software to check if any virus is tampering with audio.
If no registry keys are damaged, then look for file corruption. Try creating a new Windows account, clean temp files with a cleaner. Restore points help if created. If not, then simply reinstall the OS. My issues disappeared with a software install on the laptop's manufacturer website, or Windows Update. My aunt congratulated me even. |
