What do you mean 15fps?
It was played and recorded with 30fps.

I noticed that the videos are "a little" dark. But if you watch them with full screen mode (as if playing the real game) it looks exactly like in the game.

But i wanna remaster the videos adding some video filters - gamma correction, etc.
I didn't do that before because of an YouTube built-in instrument for enhancing video quality. But for some reason now that instrument on YouTube isn't avilable anymore. But the video are already published.
Now I have to reedit them manually and reupload them.

I'm sure you did, and the video file (which I downloaded and examined closely to double check) is indeed at 30 fps, but if you play it frame by frame you'll notice there are only 15 different frames. Every second of your video consists of 15 different frames plus 15 duplicated frames in between. The result is, well, a 15 fps look, which is certainly not what the game should look like.

I've checked on a laptop and also on my mobile and it looks the same on both devices.

Are the original raw video files also 30 fps? Maybe your game is not running at 30fps to begin with. Maybe frameskip is enabled in DOSBox or something.

I agree that the lack of colorfull textures is really weird. Everything looks washed out. It may be more realistic but it's visually boring.

It's an impressive work anyway, just not a big fan of the "color" choice.

Famicom, you are gravely right.
Thank you very much.
I checked that myself.
First five levels I recorded three years ago.
The next five - two years ago.
The last five - now.
And back then I had not enough experience in capturing video.
̶T̶h̶o̶s̶e̶ ̶t̶e̶n̶ ̶f̶i̶r̶s̶t̶ ̶l̶e̶v̶e̶l̶s̶'̶ ̶r̶a̶w̶ ̶v̶i̶d̶e̶o̶s̶ ̶i̶n̶ ̶s̶o̶m̶e̶ ̶r̶e̶a̶s̶o̶n̶ ̶h̶a̶v̶e̶ ̶2̶5̶f̶p̶s̶.̶ ̶S̶t̶u̶p̶i̶d̶ ̶m̶i̶s̶t̶a̶k̶e̶,̶ ̶b̶u̶t̶ ̶t̶h̶a̶t̶ ̶i̶s̶n̶'̶t̶ ̶1̶5̶.̶
But by some reason the output videos really have about 15fps.

But that is only for first ten levels!
The last five (recorded this and previous year) have real fair 30fps.

I'll try to remaster the first ten levels. I hope that will be enough to fix my old mistakes.

P.S.
I just rechecked the first levels raw records frame rate. It really is 30 fps. Those 25 fps I mentioned were from my video player file properties. But that's wrong. I could not make that grave mistake. It's 30.
But anyway.
Though it is 30, the real fps isn't 30. There are two moving frames then two still frames, then two or three moving ones, then again still, then two to four moving.
That's pity and I really don't know what to do with this. It's in the raw videos.
I'll make the first level reupload soon. You can check its fps yourselves.

P.P.S.
Now I remember that I too noticed those fps problems. But back then I thought that they are just the game features. Old game, etc. Now I know that it's wrong.
Back then I was too young and unexperienced. And now I have to live with that.
Of course I can replay some first levels. But to replay all ten levels... it is too much work to do. Really.

Here.
Tomb Raider. Walkthrough. #01. Peru. Caves (reloaded)
I've reloaded the first level.
I added some filters: brightness, gamma correction, saturation, reassembled all scenes.
I've not deleted the old version yet. You can compare them both.
