Default PROBLEM: Legend run too fast!!

Hi! im having a problem running my tr lengend: some weeks ago, i updated my graphics driver, to the last version: i have an nvidia gforce 8600 gt 256mb, athlon 64 x2 4 ghz, 1 gb ram. i run perfect tr anniversary, but legend runs so fast!! before i updated my g driver, it was fine, but now, i cant even play it! lara moves faster even when i turn on next generation content. menus are very fast too!! could someone help me? i run it in 1024x768 60hz with full efects, but no with ng content. On Topic:chage the 60hz to something else(ie 56)

60Hz is the lowest option.

Lightbulb This is the fix!

Well you can try turning on the "frame limiter" (VSync) and cap the fps to a refresh rate of 60-75Hz.

Anyway, the source of the problem is due to dual core CPUs. The more technical way of fixing this problem is to set the affinity in Task Manager of the "tra.exe" process to only 1 CPU core.

Note: I don't think you need to download the TRL v1.2 patch. It doesn't fix the kind of problems you describe.

although it doesnt fix it we should patch the game because it fix lots of problems.

TOTALLY WRONG!

TRL patch v 1.2 contains Trlpriorityfix for managing issues on new/double core CPUs. So basically TRL patch v1.2 is a MUST

BTW, Ring_of_Fire, you were not allowed to post in Tech Support section if I'm not mistaken
