Due to enemy drops in 2013, I could almost never pick-up the ammo boxes laying around, I was at max ammo pretty much the entire game.

As for exploration, well you barely have any, you get the "exploration bits" where you're dropped in essentially a big square and all you can find are documents.
No hidden crawl spaces, timed doors or anything fun.

Infact Shooters, such as Redneck Rampage, Postal 2, Duke Nukem 3D, Blood and the PS2-Era James Bond games actually do a much better job at exploration than the reboot does.

Postal 2 for instance has a section where the player can walk on power lines to get to the top of an building for some weapons, Blood/Duke 3D have the player looking out for cracked walls they can blow up and Nightfire (one of the bond games) rewards the player with a rocket launcher for remembering a path they took in a level when it's revisited later on.

Which to me personally are alot more satisfying than walking around a square and finding documents.

Not because 4 is massively faithful but because simple things like ammo conservation are still there. (Even if it was messed up by having your main intake of ammo be random drops.)
And simple things are still there in the reboot: solving puzzles, raiding tombs, finding ancient ruins and secret items placed in the world.

Any environment can be boiled down to a “square” with stuff to collect. Classic TR was literally comprised of squares after all. TR2013 has previous locations in hubs inaccessible until you find certain equipment like the rope or shotgun that reward you with either relics or more story in a document if you go back for them, both giving you XP to put towards a skill point. I like that more than a simple pick up personally, and actually feels more tomb raidery than finding firearms on top of a sphinx.

You made me remember the high-up invisible platform containing the Uzis near the big sphinx in TR1... Thank goodness there isn’t nonsense like that in the reboot games at least...

Well I actually found that alot more enjoyable than documents for a story that isn't even good IMO in the first place.

Its video-game-y sure, but its fun.

Give me actual interesting rewards than documents/exp.

I don’t care whether she has a pony l, braid or bun as long as they fix her god awful mullet.

Maybe if it was a bit longer and not a side braid.

Ideally I'd love it if we could get the option to style her hair in the next game ourselves.

Nothing too crazy like different colours and outrageous, out of character hairstyles but maybe get the option to switch from ponytail to braid to loose hair?

Maybe different outfits could have different hair options, like how in Legend and Relic Run the classic outfits have her hair in a braid.

I want to see the Anniversary outfit (which got called ‘Classic’ in Relic Run) on Reboot Lara, intact with the plait...

The bun should be there too. But I agree nothing more, or after the legendary "Barbie" Lara, say welcome to "Sims" Lara.
