Just finished: The Outsider by Stephen King
I enjoyed it and it was as suspenseful and interesting as any SK book. Just for fair warning though it does tie in to the MR Mercedes trilogy so if you're planning to read those books you will want to leave The Outsider till afterwards. I do think it did something King often does in tieing everything up too quickly at the end with no real expansion. 4/5 stars Currently reading: RUN by Blake Crouch. I'm quite enjoying it and Crouch is fast becoming a favourite writer if mine. I like his style and I think he is very good as setting the scene and laying out his characters. The book is a journey book but I'm enjoying not being thrown through event after event. I'm at 47% and the main explanation behind events is now starting to creep in. Will review when I'm done. |

We are all all completely besides ourselves, Karen Joy Fowler. Interesting read, nice twist, though I think it comes in too early. Got a bit boring near the middle, but got better.
