I prefer mapping it to a button, as said in my case the Select button (PS1 Dualshock), which I think is also that used in PS TR3. It is the only deviation from the basic PS controller mapping I make with the PC joypad controls.

Just remember that it's this:
Light a flare Hold walk and step forward, then backward Let go of walk and rotate 1.5 times Jump forward (I know all the guides say to rotate 3 times, but I found out that 1.5 is enough) |

I just tried it and you're right! No need to turn 3 times. Good, because it was getting boring to do all that

Here's the solution.
There's this funny thing, that after a couple levels the cheats switch! Yes, that's right, you have to use a different order of moves, combination, so level skip cheat works well until oil rig levels, if i'm not wrong. Try different combinations, mix and match cheat codes, the ones from PC and PS1. It's probably hardcoded, it's weird but i've tested it just today, it works. Variant #1 [Works from "The Great Wall" until "Opera House"] Light a flare - Step Left - Step Right -Step Left - Step Forward - Step Backwards - Rotate in two full circles - Jump backwards with a twist roll mid air Variant #2 [Works starting from Oil Rig Levels] Light a flare - Step Left - Step Right -Step Left - Step Forward - Step Backwards - Rotate in two full circles - Jump forward Last edited by Felix Kroft; 03-02-25 at 21:16. |
