Is there a reason why they changed Lara's brown leather jacket from the beta version?

Can't decide which one i like more tbh... I just like that we see Lara in civil clothing (for once).

Alot of games go through beta and final wardrobe changes unfortunately

Maybe the new one sees Lara wearing the black top that she wears with the rest of the outfits, making it seem more smooth with outfit changes, also probably re textured denim from the jeans to create the top for saving memory.

I also prefer her beta - beta costume from the next gen trailer from TR5

Honestly I prefer her jeans outfit much much more than that one, you showed, but that's just my opinion.

I don't like the colours of Lara's outfit in that picture and it is just too adventurous (The Jeans make more sense because she was just visiting Von Croy not raiding tombs originally).

And I liked that later in the game she was wearing a black top and green camouflages, it just fits the more modern times and shows that time is passing. Lara can't run forever in her green body and brown hotpants (Even though I liked her original appearance and outfit)

I prefer original outfits in game. her jeans jacket and pants looks very cool. and I really adore that top and tank pants/shorts, for me AOD clothes is best.

Now when I look at her she does looks abit like Lady gaga..

But what if she was not really Lara?
what if there was a remake with different characters (for example the name of my "blond Lara" will be Venesa)?

And the story will be a little bit differant (For example:When Lara was 5 years old, Eckhardt asked her father to find the obscura paintings. After couple years of research her father finds out that Eckhardt needs them to awake the sleeper, he refuses to continue the research and Eckhardt steals Lara form her father and says that if he wont continuethe research he will kill Lara..
Time goes on and Lara's father continues the research and Eckhard raises lara as his own daughter and trains her to be a professional killer.. By the time Lara turns 17 they found the placement of the last painting, Eckhardt decided that he needs to kill Lara's father and he asks her to do it. Lara goes to her fathers apartament to make her first kill ever, she points the gun on her father without even knowing that that is him..As her father sees herhe is trying to explain her what happend 12 years ago, she doesnt know if to belive him.. he gives her a notebook with en explanation of what Eckhardt's plan is, she looks at her father, there is a flash of light and the sound of a gunshot, she knows that she didnt shoot him, but the police started to chase her..She comes back to were she and Eckhardt used to live and she founds out that he left.. She opens her dads notebook and realizes that she has to find the paintings, destroy them and kill Eckhardt)

But most of the places and the atmosphere will stay the same?

Dont get me wrong.. I'm absolutely in love with the original AoD and I wish for a normal remake with all the beta content but I dont think that they will make one.. they rebooted the series and AoD never happened..

So I think that the best thing to do is to make a remake of AoD with some replacements and a similar but differant story...

And I would like to hear/see your suggestions of a new look for 'Lara"

I hope that I've explained everything properly
