Edit: Here it is: VS Edit 2: sorry, you're right. The game has static day time. I was confusing it with black flag which actually had full cycles, and with the fact that some missions happened at night in Unity. But still, the first pic still shows lighting can look bad in certain situations Last edited by Vaskito; 14-11-22 at 08:44. |

The combat.... the combat... aahhh the combat...
If you need to use color coded shilelds to tell players which spell to use, why not just have all shields be breakable with the same spell? Or, have different types of shields that look the same BUT have players learn what works and what doesn't based on previous knowledge on the enemy type? Also, I like how proud the guy was when he explained that incoming attacks are basically telegraphed by a vertical aura coming out of the enemy's head, and deflected automacally by just pressing a button. This is so close to being a rhythm game at this point. |

This seems to be similar to AC combat, where you'll press a button to incoming attacks to parry/deflect them, or deflect->counterattack

yeah, AC/Batman Arkham is the go-to for videogame adaptations these days.
On another point, some of the questions brought up in this presentation makes me wonder... could it be that some fans expecting too much freedom from this game? I get the feeling that some are expecting this to be some sort of real life simulation where you can just go to classes whenever you want, go anywhere anytime you want... when in reality this is going to be just a fantasy RPG with a traditional mission structure and content locked behind story progression. I think they touched on that subject, as people wondered if you could attend classes, etc. and they said classes are story-related only.
Something a lot of pepople may not remember, is that the game is much bigger beyond the castle as there will be dungeons and an open world out there |

They've just released a video with the music from the game, played live
So gorgeous, and so familiar with the movies arrangements with their own spin. I'm in awe |

This is a pretty spectacular approach for a Harry Potter game. Good for them. |

I wanted it for PS4 but with the delay, maybe I will take the PC version instead.
