Honestly after watching some of it I don't think CD hate TR as much as some of us originally thought. They just have a lot of bold ideas they want to try with the franchise to keep it above water.

Yeah I suspected that. Everytime someone said the game flopped because of the low numbers I remember them that the budget, team and ressources were low and they didn't have to sell a lot to hit their target.
Poeple are afraid that with another remake Crystal will do again again great cuts but with appropriate time and budget they don't necessary have to. About making it justice with gameplay, tone and story... this is another subject.

It's kinda funny how they included a few brief clips of Shadow even though they didn't make Shadow.
