Things might have obviously have changed, but at least in January he appeared as DP (Director of Photography) for Tomb Raider 2 on the January issue of Production Weekly. You can check it for free on their website, the link is in one of my earlier posts.

I think that if Laurie Rose has been the director of photography for all Ben Wheatley's films, I don't think that in TR he has someone different.

I've never heard of a film in history of cinema that delayed production start because a director's cinematographer was busy unless their name was Roger Deakins.

Anyways lets hope Rebecca gives Wheatley momentum and gets MGM excited to push further on Tomb2.

According to Superman81, the only real change from this month's issue of Production Weekly, aside from a lack of shooting date, is that WB is now involved in the production again, so he might actually still be involved.

Obviously the only way actually know would be to buy the issue, but that's money I am not really willing to pay. Feel free, though

Production Weekly is not entirely accurate, they still have Roger Deakins name on "355" which is so not something he made and nor did he. Just to clear up confusion for everyone, all production weekly is a newsletter to help industry veterans find their next job and when a production is hiring, word gets out and firms like Production Weekly collate them, give brief descriptions - general ideas of who's attached but the specifics are not bible. The only certain thing on that is the email address for film crew to send their CV's too.

I love that new Rebecca trailer and I can already tell that Kristin Scott Thomas is going to give a great performance. I really hope Ben utilizes her well in the movie.

I just hope these recent nuggets of information and updates don't become radio silence again.

That shot with the paintings in the wall really pops as well as the cool tones in the bedroom. I really would like to see Laurie Rose collaborate with Ben on TR.

Looks a lot better than the brown made-for-TV look on TR2018 film people have complained about.

For the record I thought the 2018 film looked good but it needed more scope.

The scope thing I definitely agree, but personally I had no problem with the brown-looking Yamatai: it made Yamatai look like an harsh environment, which is what it was supposed to be.
