Yes Joey was supposed to be thick but they made him too stupid in the last seasons as a desperate attempt to draw on lame and lazy humor attempt's which was frankly embarrassing to watch.

Definitely. He started off as kinda dopey in an adorable way and ended up just being outright stupid. Also Phoebe turned into an outright bitch who was just mean to her closest friends.

Why, just why did y'all decide to reboot the show right before it's final story arc. You leave season 2 with a cliff hanger, but then MTV just derps and decides to reboot in season 3. Even after they already have the scripts and plot for the conclusion of the original show.

And the reboot is awful, nothing like the original show at all. I actually bonded with the original characters and the cast, but the new season is so obnoxious and painful to watch I couldn't get past the first episode.

Just no.
They still haven't added the latest season to Netflix here, and honestly, I can't be bothered to look it up any further. The series wasn't amazing as it was, but sweet lord, did they just need to finish it off with that cliffhanger.

I never liked Phoebe, Lisa Kudrow tried too hard to be funny and it came across as forced as opposed to being naturally funny, you may not know this but Lisa Kudrow auditioned for the part of Roz on Frasier, according to IMDb Kudrow was originally cast because her line readings were funnier but during rehearsals the shows creators felt that she lacked the forcefulness needed to play Roz which led to her being replaced.

I think Peri Gilpin was a better choice for the part of Roz.

Some people are better at humour than others for example the doctor in Star Trek Voyager in one episode in response to a crew members response that you said I should stimulate his senses, the doctor said in response I said stimulate them Mr Neelix not annihilate them.

It's all in the delivery, some people are better at it than others.

Through all 10 seasons I could never stand Phoebe, she was not a nice person, and just not funny. Could never understand how she was so popular.

If it had been up to me I would have killed Phoebe maybe have her fall into The Grand Canyon in the Vegas episode and if she survived the fall have her mauled to death by a coyote.

If killing Phoebe was not possible then recasting her would be the only alternative, Anna Faris would be a good choice for replacing Lisa she was great in Scary Movie 4 especially in the Viagra scene.

Before Friends began they should have had a test drive in front of a test audience to see what they thought was and wasn't funny, if they had done that we might have been spared Phoebe.

Test audiences can be a good thing, it was a test audience that led to the original death of Captain Kirk being shot in the back in Star Trek Generations being changed to the bridge that Captain Kirk was standing on breaking free of what was holding it in place and plunging several feet to the ground.

It's a good thing that they didn't do a musical episode like they did with Buffy, Phoebe is a terrible singer, it's smelly cat I feel sorry having someone who can't carry a tune sing about you.
