This concept art is confusing ! It reminds me of the scrapped town in Syria, which I think became the Acropolis we know. Seems to have some stages : first sunny Syrian town, second a town in the middle of mountains at night and then the greeny area at day.

Lara Croft GO might be the hardest TR/LC game that I've played. The precision is killing me, especially at later levels.

It could be sand? Considering it's twilight it could explain why it's pale in colour. Hmm, looking again it does look more like snow. It's almost as if three different concept arts have been smashed together.
