...In Lara's Home, Lara doesn't mention the roll maneuver in the tumbling area? She only mentions jumping straight up and to the side. You'd think that would've been a natural room to bring it up.

Maybe they forgot to implement it into the tutorial. Like they forgot to include vehicles in Tomb Raider II's tutorial. Don't know the exact reason, though.

They also don't go over the block pushing in the tutorial.

I think they just expected people to figure it out, unlike games now that scream the solution at you, hold your hand and put paint everywhere.

And they didn't cover combat at all. Ah, the good old days when Core just plopped you into a level and was like "Good luck mf".

A fair point, it's just particularly odd that she goes "Let's do some tumbling", only to go over jumping instead.

I'm experiencing the same issue
Once I've download the ps4 version I heard all the dialgoues where she supposed to speak. In PS5 versions it's the same as what you mentioned. When I accidently deleted the ps4 version and download it again. It turns the same as ps5 version as you mentioned. I really wonder why.

Well that's a separate issue that's been discussed quite a bit in the Remastered forum. From what I understand certain voice bytes were removed because they didn't conform to "standards" across all platforms- i.e. "use the D-pad" wouldn't make sense if you're playing on a keyboard.

What I was more referring to was how in the original game, Lara doesn't do a tutorial on the roll button.

I always assumed that when she says "let's do some tumbling" that was a tutorial too

I would just press the roll button several times waiting for her to tell me what to do next because I thought that's what she wanted me to do and I was doing something wrong.

It's probably just because the devs didn't include the roll dialog and instructions into the game.
