Also, I think it's important to say that most people who like Sam are people who played the game and read the comics, and comic book Sam is a bad ass. she was a scared girl who needed rescuing in TR2013 but she really grows into a self sufficient young lady in the reboot comics. She even stabs a shark in the eye in those comics.

I think it actually is kinda good that she wasn't a bad ass in TR2013, makes Lara's journey in the game more unique.
I still have a preference for Sheeva from RE5 rather than Sam, but I see what you mean.
To be honest, I never read the "survivor" books of TR.
But why not, one day I will read them.

Not because "queer", but because you always imagine that everyone is.
No, Zip was never been queer-coded, it’s just your imagination.
Tasha Huo made it gay for the Netflix show, thanks to the DEI agenda and all that crap...
But Zip was never gay before all this.
All this reminds me of the time with Bayonetta, where many said that Bayonetta was lesbian and in a couple with Jeanne, when not at all, they were friends only.
Fortunately, Bayonetta 3 confirmed this.
Today I saw on twitter (X) a fan of Sonic the hedgehog say that the character Shadow has always been a trans...
It's f*cking insane. What is the problem with you, people?

Perhaps you should get off Twitter, it doesn't seem to be doing you any good.

Anyway TRC Zip is very flamboyant so I can't really say the idea is far fetched, even if I personally find Netflix Zip as amusing as nails on a chalkboard.

Some characters may be straight coded but that's maybe our imagination

Some are just thoughts from the fans there's nothing wrong with that.
As Tacha said about Zip, the flamboyance of the character was given by Allen Maldonado I think If I rememeber she imagined a more toned down interpretation at first.

It’s okay to imagine a character the way you want. But don’t say that your imagined version is the truth.

I knew some black guys "flamboyant" like Zip, and believe me, none of them were gay... They flirted with every woman they saw.

The thing with twitter is that all of people on there just have a bunch of ping pong arguments that get blown out of proportion, and it’s all because they are trying to get blue tick engagement revenue or a kick from ‘owning’ someone in the comment section so it all looks very dramatic.

Literally not a single person in my life off the internet speaks like that, or has any of these ideas on there that are presented as ‘left’ or ‘right’. It’s important to not take what people say on social media as reality. People who start thinking it’s reality often start going mad about what they think is really going on in the world and they end up wasting their energy on issues that don’t really exist outside of the aggressive posts and comments sections.

I’m not trying to be condescending when I say this. It’s also easy to fall in that trap, but I’d just hate to see people who mean well getting sucked into that world which really does not echo what people are like and what’s really going on outside

Maybe it depends on the country we live in.
I don’t know where you’re from, but I’m from Europe.
In Europe, we are divided into two camps, left and right.
Everything you say, do or think is put in a box, "left" or "right".
It’s a shame but it is so.

But I agree with your message.
People on the internet are not majority, fortunately.
Maybe I was wrong about you.

I'm from Europe and I disagree we can have a lot of nuanced views, granted it's not usually the case on social medias. But sometimes peoples tend to take their time to explain their positions.

I have very nuanced opinions, but I am put in the "right" box to think differently.
What is problematic in the real world, you can no longer say what you think without being put in a box, it can cause problems.
Sorry, but it’s true.
Some have already lost their jobs because of their opinions.
