To be honest, I never read the "survivor" books of TR. But why not, one day I will read them. Quote:
No, Zip was never been queer-coded, it’s just your imagination. Tasha Huo made it gay for the Netflix show, thanks to the DEI agenda and all that crap... But Zip was never gay before all this. All this reminds me of the time with Bayonetta, where many said that Bayonetta was lesbian and in a couple with Jeanne, when not at all, they were friends only. Fortunately, Bayonetta 3 confirmed this. Today I saw on twitter (X) a fan of Sonic the hedgehog say that the character Shadow has always been a trans... It's f*cking insane. What is the problem with you, people? |

Anyway TRC Zip is very flamboyant so I can't really say the idea is far fetched, even if I personally find Netflix Zip as amusing as nails on a chalkboard. |

Some are just thoughts from the fans there's nothing wrong with that.
As Tacha said about Zip, the flamboyance of the character was given by Allen Maldonado I think If I rememeber she imagined a more toned down interpretation at first. Last edited by Ellioft; 10-01-25 at 18:58. |

It’s okay to imagine a character the way you want. But don’t say that your imagined version is the truth.
I knew some black guys "flamboyant" like Zip, and believe me, none of them were gay... They flirted with every woman they saw. |

Literally not a single person in my life off the internet speaks like that, or has any of these ideas on there that are presented as ‘left’ or ‘right’. It’s important to not take what people say on social media as reality. People who start thinking it’s reality often start going mad about what they think is really going on in the world and they end up wasting their energy on issues that don’t really exist outside of the aggressive posts and comments sections. I’m not trying to be condescending when I say this. It’s also easy to fall in that trap, but I’d just hate to see people who mean well getting sucked into that world which really does not echo what people are like and what’s really going on outside |

I don’t know where you’re from, but I’m from Europe. In Europe, we are divided into two camps, left and right. Everything you say, do or think is put in a box, "left" or "right". It’s a shame but it is so. But I agree with your message. People on the internet are not majority, fortunately. Maybe I was wrong about you. |

I'm from Europe and I disagree we can have a lot of nuanced views, granted it's not usually the case on social medias. But sometimes peoples tend to take their time to explain their positions.

What is problematic in the real world, you can no longer say what you think without being put in a box, it can cause problems. Sorry, but it’s true. Some have already lost their jobs because of their opinions. |
