Cool Unified Timeline - Croft Manor Edition

Hi everyone. I’ve given this basic unified timeline some thought mainly because basically I really want Lara to have her original home again. In some documents it was stated she had three mansions. This could be that one is her parent’s/LAU manor and one is the original Lara’s home manor. Here is an order that could mean she has the classic manor again in the unified timeline set after the established adventures. I have omitted TRA as it is a reimagining and alters the original timeline.

1. Shadow flashback then TRLR - teen level
2. Survivor Trilogy
3. TRL with young Winston
4. TR1
5. TRU finishing with her parent’s manor burning to the ground, Alister dying etc
6. TR1 Lara’s Home Level where she moves into Aunt’s manor hence boxes
7. TR2 - 6 with older Winston tray-carrying Winston
8. New TR with original Croft Manor.

What do you guys think?

In which documents does it mention three manors? I don't remember. Out of curiosity, what is the third manor? You've tied her parents home with LAU, and mention the original, so what's the third?

Personally, I'm fine with Lara remaining in her family home she inherited in Rise and we see she's in at the end of Shadow. Why would she move? I think they'll keep this one going forward, though they may alter it to accommodate whatever rooms they choose to show, if they intend to have a manor level.

I think it was first mentioned in the legend documents but I can’t be sure. I found it just now on Lara Croft Wiki.
“Abbingdon Estate is a small estate in Surrey, the Croft family was granted the title and rights to Abbingdon, Surrey by King Edward VI in 1547. The Croft Estates are comprised of three separate manor houses, two of which are maintained by the National Trust, and the third is home to Lady Croft.”

Im not sure which would be the third manor. But think the survivor trilogy and LAU era are similar enough to be combined and the family back stories are quite similar with both fathers being adventurers and mothers going missing.

I felt like the mansion blowing up in TRU would be a good way to migrate to the classic manor if they wanted to do that (and I really hope they do!)

Croft Manor is heavily based on Hatfield House in Hertfordshire (rather than surrey). I've been there and the connection is clear with Core's CM.

I think just change the Manor design without explanations. I prefer the original CM and think it would be better to use a design based on Hatfield House again rather than a new design.

I used to think the original manor was based off Hatfield House too but saw on Ash’s website a mention of Compton Wynyates which looks soooo similar to the FMVs from TR1. Either way, I would love for it to return with new rooms unlocked or the basement extended. I have high hopes as the new tomb raider producer Dallas Dickinson seems to be a big classic fan.

I love Core's Manor. It was so magical and pretty. The red color was spectacular. I wish we could see the real Manor again.
