Default TR1, TR2 & TR3 Ported to Original Xbox?

Anyone here know something about this? Its been done using an engine called OpenLara.

The original Xbox still has a huge following and a number of PC games have been ported to it as homebrew since it was killed by MS in late 2005. It runs emulators reasonably well too but in my experience the PS one is far from perfect and many PS games, including the old TRs I thought, were considered unplayable on the console.

It might be that these new homebrew versions only work on original Xboxes which have had the RAM upgraded. That is a very difficult job and would make this news really just of niche interest.

But whatever the case it is still interesting that such projects are going on.

Thanks for the link I did a search here for forum posts but didn't think to use OpenLara as the search term.

Just been playing TR1 (OL) on my Xbox in 480p - really impressive with perfectly mapped, authentic PS control system to the Xbox Controller S but, like PC, the option to use either D-Pad (authentic/preferred) or Left stick.
