Just bought the game...
Wth. I'm 10 mins in and I had to stop because of the camera. I have not read anything about the game....here I am 8 years afterwards playing this for the first time.
Has anyone experience a problem with the camera? Just the mere act of walking makes me nauseous! And this has NEVER happened in more than 3 decades on this planet playing games! Is this it? Is there any patch that might fix this? I might very well not be able to finish the game like this. |

There's a mod called Yamatai Patch that has an option to disable camera shake.
The mod will probably be falsely detected as a virus. Just put it to the list of exceptions and it should work.

People on reddit have said that moving the left stick slowly can reduce the effect. Undortunately, within cutscenes you're suck with the shaky camera.
I'm glad the gaming industry has learnt its lesson and has introduced options to turn this off since. Unfortunately there's (to my knowledge) never been an update for the PS3 version addressing this issue.
