From what LuckyEdge has said, this is the first time ever (now in 2021) that actual 3d models have been exported directly from the games resources.

Models in the past have been copied via 3dRipper - a 3d screenshot program that does as it says, and captures a model onscreen inside the games 3d world. Modders have then "cut" lara away from these.

They have never been authentic rips. But be patient, if they create an exporting tool - you may be able to use it on the PSP files.

Wrong. CircusBaby is right. The PSP version uses the same models as the PS2/PC version. Not sure about the textures, but the geometry is the same.

No. The PSP version of the games use a different mesh format. It is currently not possible to extract the models. But it is very pointless since, as I stated, the geometry is the same as PC/PS2. It might only be worth it to extract the extra Antarctica outfit, but I doubt anyone it gonna go in the trouble to create a whole tool just to extract one outfit
