I agree. Im actually glad Silent Hills was canned. Anyway it was just a semi satirical post about now TR isn't the only fanbase to whip themselves up into a furor over the smallest things.

I think with Silent Hills it's the combination of very starved Silent Hill fans and absolute bonkers Kojima fans coming together to form completely bananas conspiracy theories about why it's totally still happening no for reals guys Kojima is totally making it look he tweeted about books he read with Silent and Hill in the titles, it's happening! No, he's trolling you because that's his style. Remember when everyone went mental thinking Lindsay Wagners necklace in the Death Stranding trailer was some coded message and they spent literally months trying to decipher it? Then the game came out and it was just a necklace

I didn't play it. After MGSV, what I heard about what he had planned for SH and the fact that mere months pre release he didn't even seem to know what the game was about DS just didn't appeal to me. I'm very much over him at the moment.

It was actually a pretty decent game, it just had all this unnecessary mystique put up around it to mask the fact it's basically a delivery boy walking simulator 90% of the time. Nothing wrong with being what it is, but how do you show off gameplay like that without turning everyone off? Kojimas answer was not to, just show unconnected random clips of weird stuff happening with big name actors and let the hype train do its thing. I was nearly put off the game because of that and all the dumb "we don't even know what it is" stuff they kept spouting prerelease. It's a simple but engaging enough sci-fi plot well told with interesting characters and a beautiful world to explore set to some good music along the way. Why not just say so? Cause Kojima gotta Kojima! Even if TR is in some weird state of nonexistence at least they're point blank saying "Yeah we got nothing."

There have been TR skateboards in the past!

As seen on the TR25 Treasure Hunters article of this month:
"This event was used by Eidos Interactive as part of the Tomb Raider Chronicles marketing campaign, promoting sports and healthy lifestyles thanks to video games."

By the time the next game comes round, if it's still following real time, Lara should be around 27-28. Around the age she was in TR1, or even older no?

Yes that is correct. In Shadow she is 26. That gives her about like 2-3 years to do a lot of her OG TR expeditions by the time we catch up to her. 28-29 is a good age to start off with Unified Lara and it also pays homage to TR 1.

The dates in the games are all over the place though so I think you could be very flexible with dates and no one would notice/care.

I think 35 would be the perfect age for the next game. A confident and mature Lara.
